Dr. Alison Pruzan
Dr. Alison Pruzan received her Bachelors of Science degree from Brown University, where she graduated with honors. She then received her medical degree from the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai Medical Center, where she was a member of the Gold Humanism Honor Society. She completed her Obstetrics and Gynecology residency at NYU Langone and Bellevue Hospital. Dr. Pruzan was the recipient of the 2025 Resident SASCOG award in recognition of her academic accomplishments and interest in achieving excellence as an OBGYN generalist. While in residency, Dr. Pruzan conducted research on fertility preservation for oncology patients. Additionally, she created a liaison between medical students and residents in order to strengthen the educational experience of medical students in the OBGYN clerkship.
Dr. Pruzan has served on the board of Chick Mission since 2018, an organization that raises money to provide fertility benefits for oncology patients. Dr. Pruzan received the Good Egg award in 2019, an award that recognizes outstanding achievement of a junior member at Chick Mission.
Dr. Pruzan has been a patient of Carnegie Hill OBGYN and is honored to join this community of doctors!
Dr. Pruzan lives in Greenpoint. When she’s not practicing medicine, you can find her traveling, staying active, drawing, reading and spending time with her family and friends, especially her son Theo.
